Approached Supervisor or Midwives.

Hi,
I emailed the supervisor of Midwives in my area yesterday, was not expecting much from it, but she sent me an email back within a few hours asking me to forward her my CV and she will approach all the relevant areas, to try and get me some experience.

Fingers are firmly crossed hoping she might be able to do something for me. I've approached all hospitals myself but half don't even want to know.

Fabulous, personally I think we can all learn from SoMs, having contact with one at any stage is really helpful!

She has forwarded my CV and details to all the Heads of Midwifery at my local hospital's and wished me much success in my future career.

Apart from contacting the SoV, I've had a few emails back from other places, Im going out this week with an independent midwife, also I can go and sit in on a couple of hypnobirthing classes and help out if needed, Hope this is all good experience for my application in Sept

I think it's really nice of people to actually get back in touch as I've had a few that don't even bother to respond.
