    Midwifery Personal Statement Checking Service

We've said we would be happy to check personal statements and offer any advice for FREE, which we are happy to do but instead of PMing them one member we are going to share the workload between us so we can give better directed advice.

To do this we've set up a form which allows you to directly submit your personal statement to us to a secret little forum (so your personal statements are safe) where we can read and put together feedback for you. Its a lot easier than PMing it to one member and them having a huge workload when we can spread it out between us!

I hope you like this change and make use of it, afterall it is free.

We WON'T tell you what to write but will give you pointers on structure, content and the usuals like spelling and grammar.

So to submit your PS you will need to be a registered member of the site and have 20 quality posts. You can submit your personal statement by checking out the other article title 'Submit Your PS' or just click this link - http://www.midwiferyonline.co.uk/con...Submit-Your-PS

I have only just set this up so please let me know if it doesnt work .

Please rest assured that your personal statements are safe with us, we will never sell or give anyone your personal statements.

Please note: By looking at your personal statement does not mean we will guarantee you a place for interview, we can only help and of course you can disregard our comments and stick with your original PS.

Please note: We do NOT charge for this service but if you feel we have helped you and you would like to show your appreciation you can always make a donation towards the site, of course this is not required. You can make donations via paypal to admin@midwiferyonline.co.uk

We have added a minimum post limit for PS checking of 20 posts.

So to be able to post a PS for review you will need to have 20 posts on the forum, this was done to make it fair on all our users as to not have just people come to the site and ask for a PS review with no intention of participating which in turn bumps up the turn around times for regular members using the site and PS service.

For those who have submitted their PS for review who don't have 20 posts, this isn't aimed at your personally just something I didn't think about i.e for next year. Also if you have already submitted your PS we will still happily look over it for you with no limit to how many times we will and that goes for everyone.

    I hope everyone understands.

Please Note: That spamming the board with unhelpful and pointless posts to just reach the minimum 20 post count will not be tolerated and your PS statement will not be looked at, it defeats the object of what we are trying to prevent to just sign up, spam the board and then submitting your PS.

    Re: Personal statement checking

I cannot say enough good about this incredible service. I have been in touch with Dappy and Delialh dozens of times (yep really!) about my PS and they have never failed to come back to me with incredible feedback. i now have a PS which I know speaks truthfully and accurately about me and why I want to study Midwifery. it explains why I am an ideal candidate without begging or appearing cocky. I have been absolutely bowled over by the service this site has provided and I just want to wish everyone in the same boat as me all the very best for UCAS and beyond. The biggest thanks ever to Midwifery Online - you bloody rock!!

I have had to add an addition to the first post. Please don't spam the board to just reach your 5 minimum posts, this isn't fair.

Don't be daft, we've had two submitted for checking in the last 7 days .

It can take a while to write a really good PS, so it's better to have the time to be able to go over it and edit it without having to rush it.

Re: Midwifery Personal Statement Checking Service

I've started mine and sent it in twice already. When i contacted college for help they basically said stop panicing there's loads of time. I think its better to be organised early rather than rushing last min! Thankyou for an amazing service here the support is amazing xxx
