Hey ladies

I went in to a book shop today to purchase the above but was told it was out of stock at the publishers and the lady couldn't tell me if this was due to the fact a new one was about to be published or not. It was the 2009 (15th edition) so I was just wondering if anyone knew if there is a new one due out soon or not?
A lot of online shops are also showing out of stock. I don't want to buy the 15th edition if a new one is going to come out in a couple of months time!

Hope someone can shed some light!

:-) x

I have no idea - can you ask at your local Uni library? They may know a bit more about it?

there is a 16th ed in the pipeline. Jayne Marshall at nottingham is currently editing it or has recently done so. contact elsevier and ask them when it will be published. prob not till next year I suspect or amazon would have a preorder on it.
"Jayne's current editing project is the 16th edition of Myles Textbook for Midwives (the best selling midwifery text world -wide) with her colleague, Maureen Raynor."

They have a copy in my local bookstore (15th Ed), I was looking at it yesterday, not that that helps you much I know! lol It could be out of stock because all the sept starters are starting to buy their books maybe?

I got Mayes midwifery instead for this very reason, and I'll get Myles when the 16th edn comes out
