A few things have happened over the last 3-4 months. I have been aware of things being moved, the kids have seen things and the dog at times goes berserk at what seems nothing.
Do you have any opinions on ghosts etc?

we have ghosts in our house, not seem them for a while though. Old man and an old lady, and this wlll seem daft but when my gran died she hung round here for a few months. She used to watch my daughter when she was a baby. Kids have seen them, middle son talked to the old woman when he was a toddler.
Children are more likely to see things. I had a ghost in out old house :) didn't bother me! I know someone personal who see's the other side!
I would be terrified and have to move. I have a real bad issue with things like this since my boyfriend died when i was 18.
I don't like anything like that.
DOes it bother you star?x

I have lived in a house with 2 ghosts (at least). My bedroom was in the old servants quarters above the kitchen. It used to be accessible only via a staircase from the kitchen, but those were removed and I entered it via another bedroom which I used as my sitting room (a very big country house). I used to hear things being moved and scraped in the kitchen long after everyone was in bed, and would later feel a presence in my room but it always felt friendly.
In the living room at the other end of the house there was a nasty presence. I used to feel watched in that room all the time, and wouldn't be in it alone. It was a cold room and a few things happened that made me scared to go in it at all. I used to hang out in the kitchen instead with the friendly spirit which made me feel safe. I never saw anything though, and the only person who believed me was my ex BIL who heard the servant ghost cleaning up one night but never leaving the kitchen.
The next house I live in I shared with Mr Banks. I woke up one night to see a glimpse of an old lady watching me sleep, and our puppy always barked at a particular corner of the room where we kept our TV. When we moved the TV he still barked at that corner and my MIL who was a local district nurse/midwife told us that the old lady whose estate we bought the house from had always sat on her chair in that corner, and had lived in the house from when it was built until she was moved to a nursing home shortly before she died. Guess she still hung around afterwards :)

Aw what a nice thought. Ernie lives still at my mum and dad's, if they decorate he bangs drawers in the middle of the night! When i slept there i could hear coins being thrown in to a pot at 3am. He also likes leaving the kitchen cupboards open. He is more mischievous than nasty!

my jury is out on ghosts and spirits - but I do believe in land spirits. Entities that are of the world so to speak, pixies, elfs etc.
We often have things moved about - I just ask who ever it is very nicely to put them back and they usually do come back. The house was cleansed before we moved in and I told anyone or anything there to sling its hook or I would bind them to the house and my service.
Went sort of quiet after that.

I do this too!
When/if I see one I 'will' believe.... properly....
I like to think there is something after death.... not just ashes or rotting - something to look forward to!! Am compiling a list of who I intend to 'haunt' as we speak..... ;)

ha ha ha, i may start a haunting list.
I definitely believe in spirits & have never seen one. After my nan died I was convinced she would come to visit me to try to make me feel better & it petrified me. Then I figured that she knew me so well that she would know I wouldn't like it. My son once smiled & laughed at someone in the front room when we were eating dinner, there wasn't anyone there that I could see. Our house isn't haunted though, but I do believe that children are more tuned in to that kind of thing.
I have to say, I can think of nothing scarier than waking up & seeing someone, albeit a ghost, staring at me.
Hmmm Im not sure but few years back we took our eldest daughter to a funeral she must have been 18 months or so and could just about say single words anyway as we walked through the cremation place past the gravestones etc etc she began to point at nothing as we walked and say "man" "lady" etc etc as we walked past the childrens grave bit she started laughing hysterically shouting "weeeeeeeeeeee" "baby on bike" the hairs on my arms stood bolt upright and us and the few people who were near by just looked at each other in shock, was VERY scarey indeed. They do say kids can see things though, ive lost count of the times ive watched my kids as tiny babies follow nothing with thier eyes round the room giggling or screaming....most spooooky!
AHHHHHH Im alone at home and all freaked ouyt now :(

would be scared to death quite literally...i have been to see sally morgan afew years ago but not got a message. I will not live in an old house because of the potential for spooks I did have a spooky experience just after my mil passed in sad circumstances she was a smoker and we live in a big non smoker house yet i smelt cigarette smoke for a few seconds and then it was gone
I think my house is haunted.....
Every time I tidy it - I walk away and come back and it is trashed.....
Could be a different type of apparation???
